How To Make Kenya a Corruption Free Country.

Kenya is well known for two things: its excellency performance in sports, especially athletics in the like of the famous Kipchoge keino   and secondly it is known for corruption, a disease that has crippled our government .It has led to increase in insecurity cases in our lovely country ,many Kenyans are suffering when they don’t deserve to suffer in their country ,the country their forefathers fought for to acquire. The gap between the poor and the rich keeps on widening day by day.It doesn’t mean am not proud to be a Kenyan ,purposely am supposed to be here, not by chance but by choice(by God). Embarking on the business of the day, these  are    some of the mechanism we can use to reduce corruption and embezzlement in our country.
1.Educating citizens
In our schools, including colleges and secondary schools, we are only taught theoretically about community morals, to
make it practical the social conscience of our society has
to be revived and that can only happen when
more people themselves become aware to
fight against corruption. In order to heighten
the level of moral awareness among
students, certain topics should be taught in
Kenyans schools which are currently outside
from the curriculum although the curriculum seems to have been changed or they are trying to change(according to rumors, rumors are not far from the truth you know) they might have included it , I cant confirm nor deny the allegations as per now.
2. Encourage Right to Information:
Kenyans will never be told the truth, while this has been in existence for quite sometimes, it is openly known by many, the moment you make yourself to know much, that’s when you start reducing the number of days you will live on earth. Reporters and journalists are no longer protected as it used to be. You will be surprised that even most of our leaders are involved .To curb this situation, each and every Kenyan should be involved in provision of possible information. Also, strengthening and widening the
scope of the Right to Information will be of
help in fighting corruption in our country.
3. Misuse of laws:
Although each one of us has the right for a
fair trial, people accused in corruption or
even authorities should not be allowed to
misuse laws to their own personal
advantage. There are aspects of law which
need to be modified so that loopholes are
plugged. Archaic laws must be done away
with and enforcement of law should be given
top priority. This will help the fight against corruption in our country and we shall be heading to zero corruption. This disaster needs to be brought to the end with immediate effect.
